Q: How can I prevent myself from additional verification? A: In order to prevent additional verification being asked every time, use same computer and same browser and do not delete your cookies. Accessing ABMS Solutions/CertiFACTS Online Q: How do I log in to ABMS Solutions/CertiFACTS Online? A: You can log into home page at https://certifacts.abms.org/login.aspx. Enter your emailaddress and password and click the Login button. Configuration Settings Q: I am unable to connect to certain portions of the website, how can I fix that? A: The use of a Pop-up Blocker may be restricting your access to some information on this website. You may need to disable or allow Pop-ups in order to view certain information. Reports Q: How do I obtain a report of the records I have selected? A: After you have selected one or more records from the Physician Search Results page, the records will be displayed as a report on a new page optimized for printing. Database Updates Q: How frequently is the database updated? A: The ABMS database is updated on a daily basis as we receive information from the member boards. Please note that the ABMS Member Boards may take up to 90 days to provide updated certification information to ABMS. This may impact the availability of new certification or recertification information in our database. Security Q: How does ABMS Solutions/CertiFACTS Online keep physician certification information secure? A: Every precaution is taken to protect physician certification information. Information is stored in the ABMS database and is protected by firewalls and monitored 24/7 by security engineers. To access this information, a unique user ID and password must be provided. Other security features include: • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol is used whenever data is transmitted, ensuring that your connection and information are secure. • 256-bit encryption of this data makes your information undecipherable as it passes over the Internet. • Automatic log out if you are inactive in the application for more than 120 minutes. Q: Is it important that I keep my email address, password and security questions and answers confidential? A: Please do not share your email address, security questions and answers or password with anyone. This information is needed when you have to reset your password or have to unlock your account.
